Privacy Policy
Welcome to OPL. OPL is provided by the operator through oneplex.net for short-video, live streaming and social services (the “App”, “we”, “us”). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before use.
1. Information we collect
To provide account, content and security functions, we may collect:
- Account: phone number, login ID, nickname, avatar, OPL ID, and password (stored in encrypted form).
- Content: videos, images, text, comments, live video and audio that you publish.
- Interactions: follows, fans, likes, collections, shares, browsing and playback history.
- Device and logs: device model, OS version, network status, crash logs and operation logs, used to ensure service stability and security.
- Location: collected only after you grant permission and use features such as Nearby or adding a location to a post. We do not actively request location when the App starts.
- Camera, microphone and photos: requested only when you use corresponding features such as shooting, live streaming or uploading. For occasional photo picks (for example changing an avatar) we use the system photo picker and do not require access to your entire gallery.
- Face-related processing: when beauty filters are used, facial pixels may be processed in real time on your device to provide the effect. They will not be used for purposes other than providing the effect, such as identity recognition.
2. How we use information
We use the information for registration and login, content distribution, live interaction, security risk control, customer support, compliance with laws and regulations, and personalized recommendations after obtaining your consent. You can manage some permissions in Settings.
3. Sharing and international transfer
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- with your consent;
- with technical service providers entrusted to complete live streaming, storage, push and other services (such as cloud storage, instant messaging and live streaming SDKs, including Tencent Cloud services located in Singapore and other regions);
- when required by laws, regulations or competent authorities.
If cross-border transfer is involved, we will adopt measures such as contractual constraints, access control and encryption.
4. Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide services. After account cancellation, we will delete or anonymize related information, unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations.
5. Your rights
You may access, correct or delete personal information, withdraw authorization, and apply for account cancellation. In the App, go to Me → Settings → Delete Account. It takes effect immediately after submission and cannot be recovered. You may also contact us via the email below.
6. Children
OPL is intended primarily for adults. Users under 18 should use the App under the guidance of a parent or guardian. Live streaming or gifting by minors is prohibited on the platform. Guardians may use minor-protection tools to limit usage time.
7. Third-party SDKs
To provide live streaming, messaging, storage and other capabilities, we may integrate third-party SDKs, such as:
- Cloud live / real-time audio-video SDKs: broadcast, PK;
- Instant messaging SDKs: bullet comments, private messages, online status;
- Cloud storage SDKs: upload avatars, covers, videos;
- Push and analytics components (if enabled).
Third parties process necessary information under their own privacy policies, and we require them to use it only to implement the agreed functions.
